ABOUT CECILIA 

I love my job! I have the honor to be part of a very important day in the couple's life. There is lots of positive energy in the air  and I am always happy to be there. 

I am a notary and ordained minister from the Universal Life Church. I speak fluently English, Portuguese and Spanish and I have working knowledge of French and Italian.  

Our team consists of  3 officiants:Cecilia, Mylene and Peter. The three of us are  bilingual and experienced officiants. We back each other in case of emergency.

We  have   over 12 years of experience officiating weddings in South Florida. We have  married over 500 couples from 43 different countries, with a variety of languages, customs, religions and ethnicity.  Due to our extensive experience in bilingual weddings we are able to assist couples that speak languages outside of the ones that we master.   

No matter the size of your wedding, if it is just the two of you or hundreds of guests, we will take care of you with the same professionalism and care. We travel to your location from Vero Beach to Miami. We serve other locations upon request. Last minutes requests are welcome. 

Marriage License: In Florida the officiant does not issue a marriage license. The  bride and the groom must go to the courthouse together and apply for the marriage license.

CEREMONY 

As more couples decide to get married outside of a religious venue it allows them to customize their wedding ceremony.  As they take ownership of the creation of the ceremony it lessens the anxiety of the unknown the day of your wedding. The couples will have the script ahead of time and they will know exactly what is going to be said the day of the ceremony.  It can also be used again and again to renew your vows each year. 

We offer civil or non-denominational religious ceremonies. The ceremonies can be romantic, spiritual or mixed. 

How do we do that? We start the Personalized Ceremony process by setting up a meeting either in person, by phone, e-mail, connecting via Skype or any other application of the couple’s preference. It works very well if you nearby or faraway. The couple will have the opportunity to select each part of the ceremony. The goal is to have a ceremony that will l reflect your customs, traditions ad values.  You will have control of the length of the ceremony from a shorter to a more sophisticated and longer one.  For many couples this is their first experience selecting their ceremony and they don't know what to expect.  Nothing to worry! We have a vast selection of readings, vows and rituals to help you each step of the way. If you have previously selected a reading or your vows we will be happy to incorporated them into the ceremony.  You may also use in the years to come to renew your vows.

The Economic Ceremony works well for elopement or last minute requests and it is delivered with the same care and professionalism. We offer you a Florida Weddings by Cecilia standard ceremony to celebrate your special day. It is a romantic ceremony and the couple has the opportunity to write their own vows or repeat after me.

PACKAGES 

Personalized Ceremony: It is a customized ceremony based on the bride and groom's vision for their wedding. It is about  in average 18-25 minutes long and you may chose to be celebrated  in one or more languages, elect rituals, etc. 

Economic Ceremony: It works well for last minute bookings and/or elopements. It is about 8-10 minutes long and delivered in one language. You may select to write your own vows or repeat after me.
